A full brand identity for The Deli Society, built for foodies. Drawing on Spanish sunsets, good food, and good company.

About the Brand

The Deli Society was shifting focus to premium Spanish foods like charcuterie, olives, and empanadas, and needed a brand refresh to match. The old branding no longer reflected their ethos.

The brief: create a bright, approachable identity that evokes sunny afternoons spent sharing food with friends.

The challenge: make it stand out across both digital and retail spaces.

Identity

The identity was built to emulate an aperitivo hour — the golden-hour ritual of charcuterie, olives, and cocktails shared with good company. Wordmark set in Roca, paired with Poppins for supporting text. The maroon, cream, and orange palette is drawn straight from that aperitivo spread: cured meats, olive oil, and a glass of something orange at sunset.

From concept to shelf

This rebrand went into production — the packaging system below is real, live work for The Deli Society.

Packaging

The mark applied across the full product range — chorizo bites, gordal olives, chilli jams, and the charcuterie gift box.

Wholesale: empanadas on tap

The Deli Society also supplies empanadas wholesale to pubs, concert, and sports venues across England. This character-led poster and coaster set gave the wholesale line its own point-of-sale presence, using a playful mascot to flag "Empanadas Sold Here" on the ground at bars and taprooms.
